Service Description

This preconception consult is an opportunity to meet with your doula, discuss goals and plans for your upcoming procedure(s), review holistic care needs, and address advocacy and communication. This preconception consult typically takes place within a month of any planned/schedule procedures, and may cover the following topics: * general review of fertility journey to date * review of information client has gathered from medical consultations, reading, online resources, etc. * discussion of clients' goals and preferences for the fertility journey, upcoming procedures, and any recovery periods * discussion of communication with providers * review of clients' concerns and fears, and what client is looking forward to * "homework" - client to draft a list of questions for the care provider, and to determine a plan for addressing holistic care needs during the fertility journey

Cancellation Policy

For cancellations, please contact us 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation charge of $50. Please note that our doulas make every effort to keep your appointment as scheduled, but may need to reschedule in the event we are attending to a client in labor -- in such cases, we will contact you directly in advance of your appointment to select a mutually agreeable alternate time.
