Service Description
This postpartum visit is an opportunity to meet with your doula, review your birth and your postpartum goals, discuss resources for ongoing support, and address personal care and recovery needs. This prenatal visit typically takes place no later than 2 weeks postpartum, and may cover the following topics: * general review of the pregnancy and birth experience * review of postpartum goals and support needs * ongoing planning for personal care and recovery needs * discussion of infant feeding and sleep * review of advocacy / emotional support needs
Cancellation Policy
For cancellations, please contact us 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation charge of $50. Please note that our doulas make every effort to keep your appointment as scheduled, but may need to reschedule in the event we are attending to a client in labor -- in such cases, we will contact you directly in advance of your appointment to select a mutually agreeable alternate time.
