Service Description

This consultation is an opportunity to speak with an infant sleep specialist, discuss goals and plans for your child's sleep, review safe sleep needs, and address specific family circumstances. This consultation will be custom-tailored to your family's unique situation and needs, and may cover the following topics: * general review of infant sleep to date (as applicable) and infant sleep needs * review of information client has gathered from childbirth education, reading, online resources, etc. * discussion of clients' goals and preferences for the infant sleep in the early and later postpartum period * discussion of communication with providers * review of clients' unique needs, and what you hope to achieve * "homework" - client to draft an infant sleep plan/preferences and begin to review options for optimal sleep practices

Cancellation Policy

For cancellations, please contact us 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation charge of $50. Please note that our doulas make every effort to keep your appointment as scheduled, but may need to reschedule in the event we are attending to a client in labor -- in such cases, we will contact you directly in advance of your appointment to select a mutually agreeable alternate time.
