From Angela:
I support women, children, babies and families in resolving birth trauma, and regaining resiliency through integrating her training in the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy*, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy* and Pre and Perinatal Trauma Resolution. Cesarean's are challenging physically and emotionally for mom, baby, and the family. Mom's often feel disconnected to their bodies after the experience, and often to their babies, postpartum. We will explore how these integrated therapies can help repair mom's abdomen, pelvis, and resolve emotional challenges attached to the event.
Drug and medical interventions imprint the new born’s experience, and may traumatize the mother, parents and family. The newborn’s earliest experiences are significant, effecting their orientation to relationships and life generally. We will explore how repair of traumatic birth imprints may improve babies' ability to bond with mom, and other relationships going forward. Angela's mission is to support resolution of physical, emotional and relational challenges for mom's, babies and families that arise as a result of challenging births. Please bring your questions and experiences; content will be shaped by our collective. To learn more about Angela Ferri, MA, LMT, RCST*, visit www.angelaferri.com.
