About Lisa
Postpartum Doula
I am the mother of two grown boys and a grandmother, and I am now in a second career -- once again in a support and care role. In my work as a postpartum doula, my role is to serve new families in a meaningful, compassionate, and personalized way. My motivation to care for new parents stems from my own experiences with both of my sons, and a strong desire to be part of the evolving efforts to lower the alarming rates of maternal health issues and mortality.
I deeply hope for all new parents to experience the fourth trimester with their baby as a time of healing and bonding. With all of my clients, I strive to provide a nurturing environment with attention to the physical and emotional needs of the new family that occur during this time.
